ADD Coaching Academy, where I did my specialized training, defines ADHD as, “A unique brain wiring, which requires engaged interest with a clear, purposeful intention, in order to activate and access attention so an individual can manage the brain’s executive functioning.”

Because of this unique brain wiring, we require a greater level of interest and an acute awareness of our intentions in order to get ignited to action, and inhibit the distractions that are ever surrounding. To do this, we must take time to regularly pause, so we can gain clarity about where we are and where we want to go. Coaching provides a space for this intentional pause. It allows us to intentionally focus on the strengths that we often push aside, and channel them into the potential we feel bursting inside us!

ADHD is paradoxical in that we can excel in one area and struggle in another. The variability of our strengths, from an area of intense interest, to an area of little interest, may confuse and frustrate the world around us, but as we learn to recognize and embrace our strengths, we can make them work for us, and we can learn to advocate for ourselves in the areas where support would be advantageous.

In coaching, we assume each individual is whole and capable. We will work together to cultivate your strengths, and develop strategies to minimize your areas of concern and frustration. We will work to gain clarity around what you want out of life and craft plans to achieve those desires.

Coaching is a place where dreams become reality and what once seemed impossible becomes your new normal. You take back control of your life, instead of letting it control you. Let the clarity and conquering begin! Schedule your discovery session today!...

How Coaching Impacts ADHD

"The mind can only do what it is equipped to do. And so man must find out what kind of brain he has before he can understand his own behavior."

~Gay Gaer Luce and Julius Segal

"You are very powerful, provided you know how powerful you are!" ~Yogi Bhajan

What Clients Are Saying

"Abby has helped me think through and focus on my goals. Together, we have discovered reasons why I procrastinate. At first, it seemed easier to just have someone tell me what and why, but she helped me realize I already had the answers within myself, if I just learn to ask the right questions, which is something we worked on, in our time together."
